Soybean

Most of the soybean varieties will flower and mature to quickly grown under condition where day length is less then 14 hours provided that temperature is also favorable. Therefore, in India soybean can be planted from 3rd week of June to first fortnight of July. However, maximum yield was achieved when planting of soybean was made in the last week of June. The suitable temperature for soybean is 15 -22 C at emergence, 22-25 C at flowering and 15-22 C at maturity. Its seed yield increased as temperature increased between 18/12 (Day/night) ans 26/20 C. Rising temperature from 29/20 to 34/20 C during seed fill decreased soybean yield. Cardamom is cultivated above 2500-5000 ft msl under good drainage condition .The crop is in flowering which commences from April-May and continued upto July-August. Maharashtra Among the districts Thane, Pune, Kolhapur, Sindhdurg, Satara and Ratnagiri the rainfall,temperature and RH varied between 216-294 mm, 20-29 C and 91-92%. Weather conditions are favorable for the vegetative growth. However, excess rain water should not stagnate. Andhra Pradesh Among the districts Srikakulam, Vishakapatnam, EastGodavari, WestGodavari, Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam and Nellore the rainfall,temperature and RH varied between 93-171mm, 24-32 C and 76-91%. Weather conditions are favorable for pre growth which will be helpful for the flowering which will start in the month of October. Goa Among the districts North Goa and South Goa the rainfall,temperature and RH varied between 262-266 mm, 23-28 C and 94-95%. Excess rain water should be drained out and stagnation may be avoided otherwise future growth and development will be adversely affected. Orissa Among the districts Puri, Khordha, Ganjan, Koratput and Nabaravgapur the rainfall,temperature and RH varied between 58-142 mm, 23-32 C and 81-87%. The prevailing weather conditions are suitable for the growth which will lead to better flowering in the month of October. Tamil Nadu Among the districts Kanyakumari, Thiruchchirappali, Thanjavur and Chennai the rainfall,temperature and RH varied between 14-120 mm, 23-32 C and 76-82%. Karnataka The major producing districts in the states Karnataka( Haveri(167 mm), Chikmanglur and Kodagu) cumulative average temperature 22-27 C. The weather condition is favorable for the growth and development of berries. Kerala The major producing districts in the states Kasargod, Kannur, Palakkad and Wayanad cumulative rain received in the last ten days(57-165mm) and temperature 19-32 C.The weather condition is congenial for the growth and development of berries. Tamil Nadu The major producing districts in the states Coimbatore, Salem, Dhamapuri and Dindigul cumulative rain received in the last ten days(8-19mm) and temperature 24-32 C. and the rainfall pattern will be continued. Haryana The rainfall,temperature and Rh in the major growing districts Bhiwani, Mahendragarh, Rewari and Sirsa varied from 42-52 mm, 25-34 C and 83-85% in the last ten days ,the prevailing weather condition will help the vegetative growth of the crop.

Gujarat

The major guar producing districts received cumulative rainfall for ten days, Patan(59mm), Sabarkantha(53mm) , Mahesena(49mm) , Banaskantha(67mm) and Kachchh(106mm) which is very much congenial for the sowing germination and development of the crop. The temperature is also very much helpful.

Haryana
