Wheat Market May Show Slight Strength Until July, Uptrend Expected After August

Currently, wheat production is abundant, resulting in ample stock availability across producing regions, distributors, and consumer markets. Due to this oversupply, wheat prices are expected to remain slightly firm through the month of July. The future market trend will largely depend on how much wheat the government releases through tenders. For now, the supply situation remains comfortable, and significant price increases are likely only after August. Given the current conditions, holding on to stock may prove beneficial for traders. At present, mill-quality wheat is being sold at ₹2780 to ₹2785 per quintal. Meanwhile, demand for processed products like flour (atta), refined flour (maida), and semolina (suji) remains weak, as prices in other markets are comparatively lower.
