West India: Light to moderate rainfall at many places very likely over the region during next 6-7 days. Northeast India is set to experience light to moderate rainfall across many areas over the next three days. Thunderstorms, lightning, and occasional heavy rain are also expected in states like Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura. Rain activity is likely to pick up starting tomorrow. East and Central India are likely to experience light to moderate rainfall across most areas over the next five days. This will be accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds reaching speeds of 30 to 40 km/h. In contrast, rain in West Bengal and Madhya Pradesh is expected to ease after the next two days. Over the next three days, strong surface winds with speeds of 40 to 50 km/h are expected across South Peninsular India. Meanwhile, light to moderate rain is likely in several areas of Kerala, Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana, and may continue for up to seven days.
