A cyclonic circulation dominates northeast Assam, while a trough extends from north Bihar to Manipur. Light to moderate rainfall over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura over the next 5 days. Punjab is expected to experience isolated rainfall with thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds (30-40 kmph) for next 1 or 2 days. Furthermore, strong surface winds (25-35 kmph) are likely over West Madhya Pradesh, East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Jharkhand for next 2-3 days.
