Kerala Among the major tea producing districts of Kerala(Kannur, Kozhikode, Malappuram, Ernakulam, Palakkad, Thrissur, Idukki, Kottayam, Kollam, Wayanad and Thiruvanthapuram) and Karnataka (Hassan, Chikmagalur and Medikari) rainfall,temperature and RH received 61-200 mm,20-26 C and 89-95 % . The weather condition is congenial for the initiation of fall harvest that will continued from September-October at the interval of 10-14 days. Care should be taken that excess rain should not damage the evergreen bush. Tamil Nadu The forecasted mild rains in the districts of Tamil Nadu (Coimbatore, Kanyakumari, Madurai and Nilgiri) rainfall,temperature and RH received were 14-65mm,18-30 C and 76-91 % . The continuance of rainfall and humid,hot condition will be beneficial for the start of fall harvest that will be continued from September to late October. Himachal Pradesh The major tea producing districts of Himachal Pradesh(Mandi, Kangra and Chamba) and Assam(Darrang, lakhimpur, Karbianglong, Goalpara, NorthCacharslill, Dibrugarh, Cachar and Naraon ) received rainfall,temperature and RH 63-242 mm, 18-28 C and 86-89%. The weather condition is favorable for plucking of the leaves and proper growth of buds and leaves. Assam The major tea producing districts Darrang, lakhimpurassam, Karbianglong, Goalpara, NorthCacharslill, Dibrugara, Cachar and Naraon received rainfall,temperature and RH 65-231mm,21-32 C and 87-90 %. The rainfall ,temperature and humidity is beneficial for the quick growth of the buds and new leaves for picking purposes
