A series of western disturbance will produce rain or snow with thunderstorms over the Western Himalayan Region in coming 1-2 days. Very isolated light rain is likely possible over Punjab, Haryana, East Rajasthan and West Uttar Pradesh in upcoming 2-3 days. Irrigate the timely sown wheat crop in Punjab upto end of March to avoid the harmful effect of unusual rise in temperature at grain filling stage. No weather activity is likely over Delhi, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh etc. A Cyclonic circulation is present over Northeast India for several days which is likely to bring heavy rain or snow over many parts of Northeast India for several days. Maximum temperatures are likely to be above 40°C in some places of South India, West India and Rajasthan adjoining Madhya Pradesh. Due to an anti-cyclone over Arabian Sea, it will bring moisture and hence may bring light rain over Kerala. Humidity will increase and temperature will increase over Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Rayalseema in the upcoming days. In Karnataka, Due to rising temperature in some wheat growing areas, there is possibility of shattering of grains.
